Great list of Linux ebooks. And it’s even free! Thanks for posting.

It looks like the link for everyday linux (http://everydaylinux.com/) is no longer valid.

Just some things to think about –

First off, because these are not all focused around programming, they can’t be called “open source.” Instead this should be headed “Free [Software] e-books for Linux.”

That is, unless you were referring to the freeness of these books as “open source,” in which case you are still incorrect as all books are open source, even commercial ones. The building blocks (letters, words, sentence structure, etc) are open and free to anyone.

Second, why is a Visual Basic book in a Linux list?

Third, you have Art of UNIX Programming by ESR listed twice.

However, this is a very good list covering a good range of topics and is pretty thorough, so for that I thank you.

Am I the only one who thinks these look more like websites and pdfs than ebooks? Last I checked ebooks were in that crappy .lit format.
